3 haiku

1.

collaborative

wonderment, is today’s tale

to never forget.

2.

hearing spirit love

responding to back and forth

risks, in distilled talk.

3.

innovation thrived

through a practical magic

of faithful fishing.

These haiku were written from material gathered while text walking from our hotel in Yaletown to Oppenheimer Park, and back again, in Vancouver on Thursday, August 1, 2024.

As I continued to work with this material, the haiku worked their way into a foldout broadsheet piece. And the following photograph (pigeon on Powell) became the front page of this printed piece.

This (pigeon on Powell) image is also one of the postcard pieces for the still, not still project.
